- Black Horses Lodge & Restaurant – offers World Class accommodation & meals

The Lodge, a subsidiary of Black Horse Holdings, is a 100% Black Owned entity that is fully focused on the development and empowerment of Women and Youth as well making an indelible mark in job creation and skills development.
Background, Mission & Vision:
A brainchild of Four Determined and Hardworking individuals, the company was founded on the wishes and desires of these women to create a space, in rural Vryheid to impact as well as grow the Events, Entertainment & Tourism sector in Northern KwaZulu Natal, and ultimately be a renowned brand nationally.
The founders of the company have diverse educational and career backgrounds, which has led to the success in establishing themselves as a preferred destination in Vryheid and surrounding areas. These include:

Initially, the business was focused on Events, which were hosted at the Black Horse Holdings Venue, and realizing a gap in the Accommodation Sector, the company recognized the need to plough further into the Tourism Market, thus giving rise to Black Horse Lodge.
The company strives to provide world-class travel experience to local, national and international travelers, by building and acquiring high quality facilities, furniture, equipment and other related resources.
